Safety standards and comfort guarantees

	This conformity mark issued by the LCIE (Laboratoire Central des Industries de l'Électricité) guarantees that a device complies with all current safety standards.
	This conformity mark issued by the LCIE (Laboratoire Central des Industries de l'Électricité) guarantees that a device complies with all standards of fitness for operation in addition to current safety standards.
	The use of this mark by a manufacturer guarantees that a device complies with the European Directives governing safety (Low Voltage Directive, LVD) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
	Device with earth terminal requiring connection to a protective conductor (earth wire).
	Class 2 device. Signifies that a device is double-insulated and does not require connection to a protective conductor (earth wire).

Installation in Bathroom

Volume 0 or volume 1
No electrical heating device may be installed.

Volume 2
Electrical heating devices may be installed only if marked Class II IP 24 (controls inaccessible from bathtub).

Volume 3
Electrical heating devices may be installed if marked Class II IP24, Class II IP21, Class I IP24 or Class I IP21.

The installation must meet the requirements of standard NF C 15 1000 including guidelines for use in damp environments (e.g., 30 mA differential circuit breaker).
